    Individual KiteFoil Coaching

    WINGISCHOOL offers you a rather playful but effective approach to learning foil through a discipline you already practice well ! I mean kitesurfing.

    This is the latest addition to the kite family, we are talking about Foil, this new practice that allows you to fly over water is absolutely fascinating and bewitching. This totally innovative discipline is attracting more and more aficionados, but beware, nothing is so easy, it is not enough to have style.

    Because of its technical nature, it’s aimed at the experienced rider, the autonomous rider with a solid command of the kite. It’s strongly advised to master a minimum of tacking and jibing manoeuvres, so strapless riders will naturally have a small head start, but don’t worry, we are here…

    More information on the stages of progression and the course of the sessions

    The steps of progress :

    1. Getting into the water, learning how to control and fit your board correctly in the water so as not to injure yourself.
    2. The “Water start”, learning to stand up and slide the board flat and foil into the water to acclimatise to the new surface.
    3. Let’s go you will learn to manage your flight attitude and quickly stabilise your foil at a certain height. Upwind and afterwards on different points of sail…
    4. That’s it, you’re flying ! Now all you have to do is master the different points of sail and, thanks to our ever-wise advice, start tacking without ever coming back down to earth… Well, on the water!

    The course of the sessions :

    • Weather / environment / equipment briefing.
    • Learning according to our pedagogy following the different stages of progression which can be modulated according to your level, from the assembly of the foil and its adjustment to the mastery of the flight and of the tacking manoeuvres.
    • Debriefing of your session and your progress with your teacher.

    Coaching Strapless et Waves riding

      Ok here back to the roots the real KITESURF ! The magic combination of kite and surf… So here you are, you kite and you have some surfing notions and you would like to go teasing the waves in “cut back” and other “bottom turn” modes

      First of all, we know that each rider, depending on his level and his abilities, can set different goals. With this in mind, we are going to take you through the basics of this discipline in STRAPLESS mode, from flat water to the most challenging waves.

      If you are here, you will have understood that there is no twin tip so if necessary we will teach you to ride a directional board. Anyway, it all depends on your level, but here’s how your progression with us will take place through our 2 main learning axes. We favour private coaching in “one to one” mode for this course, but why not share this new expérience with a friend or your partner for example.

      Evolution stage

      This course integrates al the components of strapless riding from the management of your board on flat water, i mean water start, jibes et simple transitions to the practice of wave riding, the main reason for your presence with us, the techniques to go rip the waves !

      • Water start and beach start
      • Tacking with jibes and simple transition
      • General reading of the water surface
      • Mastery of navigation in the middle of the waves, passage of the foams
      • Identification of the peak and passage of the bar
        Entering the peak and riding front side and back side the wave
      • Bottom turn
      • Cut back and other off the lip…

      Rates : 

      • Solo 2 x 3h private lesson (1 pers. 1 prof) i.e 6h = 270€
      • Duo 2 x 3h semi-private lesson (2 pers. 1prof) i.e 6h= 180€/pers

      Performance stage “The take off”

      As its name indicates, in this course you are ready to take off, transitions and other jibes are not really a problem for you anymore! So we go straight to the helm together, yes you and I are off into the waves with the objective of acquiring the following manoeuvres:

      • General reading of the water surface
      • Mastery of navigation in the middle of the waves, passage of the foams
      • Identification of the peak and passage of the bar
        Entering the peak and riding front side and back side the wave
      • Bottom turn
      • Cut back and other off the lip…

      Rates : 

      • solo 1 x 3h private lesson (1 pers. 1 prof) = 150€
      • duo 1 x 3h semi-private lesson (2 pers. 1prof) = 105€/pers
